Abstract

The present study relates anthropometry in different areas of sports as one of the most
commonly used methods for guiding training and its physical demands. In baseball, this is of great
importance and must be linked to the different individual positions of the players. Few studies
have analyzed the morphological profile of baseball players in the Atlantic Baseball League. The
objective is to analyze the Kinanthropometric characteristics of baseball players from the
University of Atlántico. A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted, with a systematic
review of various published studies on the anthropometric characteristics of baseball students
from the University of Atlántico. The current study was carried out during the first semester of
2019. Anthropometric protocols were conducted in accordance with the International Society for
the Advancement of Kinanthropometry
