Objective: To develop visually inclusive educational materials adapted to different learning
styles in higher education, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness for students with disabilities
and specific educational needs. Methodology: The research was conducted using a mixedmethods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods to gain a broader
understanding of the phenomenon under study. The study population consisted of students with
cognitive, sensory, and motor disabilities, as well as students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other
distinct learning styles. Additionally, surveys were administered to teachers, family members,
and caregivers to identify educational needs and guide the design of inclusive and functional
materials. Results and conclusions: The results highlighted the need to improve the
accessibility of graphic design in educational materials, especially for students with visual and
cognitive disabilities. Furthermore, it was found that interactive and multisensory content
significantly enhances student learning and participation. It is concluded that the design of
inclusive educational materials contributes to promoting a more equitable, accessible, and
learning-style-adapted education, thereby strengthening students’ inclusion and academic
development.
