Organizational Resilience and Digital Transformation after COVID-19: Managerial Lessons for Emerging Economies

Objective: To critically examine the relationships between organizational resilience and digital transformation in the post-COVID-19 era, identifying relevant management trends in artificial intelligence, governance, sustainability, and strategic adaptation for emerging economies. Methodology: The study employed a qualitative, analytical approach based on a conceptual and documentary review of international scientific literature indexed in Scopus between 2021 and 2025. The analysis was structured around interpretive categories associated with organizational resilience, artificial intelligence, sustainability, digital governance, and organizational learning. Results and conclusions: The findings revealed that resilience evolved from operational continuity models toward adaptive intelligence approaches supported by predictive analytics, collaborative platforms, and knowledge management. It is concluded that organizations integrating artificial intelligence, sustainability, and digital governance exhibit greater adaptive capabilities in the face of volatile contexts, although structural limitations persist in technological infrastructure, digital capabilities, and organizational culture in emerging economies.
