Digital Platforms and Sustainable Supply Chains: Emerging Organizational Models in Developing Economies

Objective: To analyze how digital platforms shape emerging organizational models focused on logistics sustainability and business transformation in developing economies, identifying research trends, conceptual convergences, and gaps in recent scientific literature. Methodology: The research was conducted using a qualitative approach through a systematic thematic review of scientific literature indexed in Scopus and published between 2021 and 2025. The analysis incorporated studies related to digital platforms, artificial intelligence, organizational resilience, logistics sustainability, big data, and digital transformation in Latin American and international contexts. Results and conclusions: The results showed that digital platforms optimize traceability, strengthen interorganizational collaboration, and improve decision-making through data-driven systems, with a growing convergence between artificial intelligence, automation, and big data. It is concluded that organizations in emerging economies are moving toward hybrid models of digital governance where sustainability, innovation, and technological transformation operate in an integrated manner, although challenges persist in technological regulation, algorithmic ethics, and digital infrastructure.
