STRATEGIES FOR REDUCING WORKPLACE ACCIDENTS IN THE CIVIL ENGINEERING SECTOR IN THE CITY OF BARRANQUILLA IN 2023.

Objective: To develop visually inclusive educational materials adapted to different learning
styles in higher education, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness for students with disabilities
and specific educational needs. Methodology: The research was conducted using a mixedmethods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. The study population
consisted of students with cognitive, sensory, and motor disabilities, as well as students with
dyslexia and ADHD. Surveys were administered to teachers, family members, and caregivers
to identify educational needs and guide the design of inclusive materials. Results and
conclusions: The results highlighted the need to improve the accessibility of graphic design,
especially for students with visual and cognitive disabilities, and identified that interactive and
multisensory content significantly enhances learning. It is concluded that the design of inclusive
educational materials contributes to promoting a more equitable education adapted to different
learning styles.
